Self-described “radical girls for God,” BarlowGirl are a bit of an anomaly in the often hedonistic and usually secular world of rock -- they cheerfully mix pop, hard rock, and dance rhythms into radio-ready fare while vowing chastity in a world that hardly recalls the meaning of the word. This set collects the group’s best tracks from its four studio albums (and a Christmas album), including the radio hits “Never Alone,” “I Need You to Love Me,” and “Let Go,” making this compilation not only a succinct history of the band to date but also the perfect introduction to the group’s brand of feisty, faith-led pop/rock.
