Produced by Danton Supple (Suede, Coldplay, Doves), the debut album from this New York-born, London-based singer/songwriter includes the singles "Animals," "No Gold," and "I Want You to Want Me." Martine has written for such stars as Ashley Roberts and Ronan Keating, but her own music -- influenced by blues, rock, soul, and particularly by the classic vocal jazz of Billie Holiday and Etta James -- frames a husky, sexy voice that has drawn comparisons to Amy Winehouse and Adele.
