The six-track EP HOW THE DAY SOUNDS is Greg Laswell's follow-up to his 2006 debut album, THROUGH TOLEDO. Laswell sticks to a primarily acoustic sound for most of the EP, and his reflective songwriting and mellow, piano-based arrangements recall in equal parts the modern sound of Coldplay and Elliott Smith and the classic singer-songwriters of the 1970s. Highlights include the title track, "Salvation Dear," and "Days Go On."
