Released in 1999, Beethoven: Piano Sonatas is a nine-disc collection of the Argentine-born Israeli pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim's interpretations of the German composer's 32 classical pieces. Produced by Suvi Raj Grubb at Abbey Road Studios, his emotive, delicate, and subtle arrangements of the sonatas, written between 1795 and 1822, include the Funeral March, Moonlight, and Pathetique.
