Zamdane

Born Ayoub Zaidane on September 25, 1997 in Marrakech, Morocco, rapper Zamdane learned French from his father, a tour guide, and immersed himself in French chanson. He moved to France in 2015, at the age of 17, and went on to study economics in Istres. Two years later, he unveiled his first songs, "Sinbad" and "Favaro ". The following year, he appeared on a remix of Lord Esparanza's "Noir ". A string of EPs followed: Yung D/C, 20's and Affamé in 2018, Z in 2019, Chrysalis, unveiled in two stages in 2020, then Affamé - Saison 2 in 2021. The artist signs a contract with Warner Chappell Music France, which hosts his debut album in 2022, Couleur de ma Peine, from which the track "Zhar " is taken. He is joined on this album, which ranks fifth in the French charts, by several guests: Dinos, Jazz Bazz and Soso Maness. Zamdane released the third instalment of Affamé in 2023, before putting the finishing touches to his second studio opus, Solsad , released in 2024. It includes "Le Grand Cirque" with Pomme, "Alouette" with Josman, "Youm Wara Youm" with Kekra, "Loin d'ici" with Niska and "Mélancolie criminelle " with Sofiane Pamart.
