Vicci Martinez
Singer/songwriter Vicci Martinez is a soulful, acoustic-oriented performer best known for finishing in third place on the 2011 season of NBC's singing competition The Voice. A native of Tacoma, Washington, Martinez began performing at age 13 and has released several independent albums. At age 16, she auditioned successfully for Fox's American Idol but ultimately turned down the opportunity. Prior to appearing on The Voice, Martinez also competed on Star Search in 2003. In 2011, she released her final performance on The Voice -- her original song "Afraid to Sleep" -- digitally. After The Voice ended, Martinez toured the Washington are extensively and released the concert album Live from Jazzbones. In 2012, Martinez released the EP Come Along featuring an appearance from her The Voice coach Cee Lo Green.
