Soluna
Female foursome Soluna (mixture of sun and moon in Spanish) were formed in the late '90s by Chilean, Colombian, Mexican, and Puerto Rican descendants, singing in both English and Spanish. Christina Lopez (aka "T"), ex-the Kings Five Aurora Rodríguez, Juilliard School-graduate America Olivo, and soloist Jessica Castellanos were all raised in the U.S., influenced by local and Latin pop stars. After signing up to DreamWorks Records, Soluna recorded its debut album For All Time, which included the hit single "Bring It to Me," released in 2002. Later that year, the girls struck a deal with UPN to create a sitcom focusing on their careers in entertainment.
