Nate57
Born Nathan Pedreira in the Hamburg district of Karolinenviertel in 1990, German-Angolan rapper Nate57 developed a passion for hip-hop from a young age, and after honing his MC skills with producer brother Blacky White, released his first mixtape, Wilkommen auf St. Pauli, through Rattos Locos Records in 2008. A year later he teamed up with Telly Telz on the collaborative effort Verruckte Ratten, whose closing track, "Blaulicht," brought him to the attention of the likes of Sido, Farid Bang, and Fler. His first full-length solo album, Stress Aufm Kiez, arrived in 2010 and was followed by the mixtape Auf der Jagd, which charted at number ten in his homeland in 2011.
