Jérôme 50

Born in 1994 in Quebec City, Canada, Jérôme 50, whose real name is Jérôme Charette-Pépin, is a Quebec folk singer. He released his debut album in 2018 entitled La Hiérarchill, with which he scored his first radio hit with the song "Chaise musicale ". This was followed in 2019 by his project Le Camp de Vacances de Jérôme 49, a compilation of camp songs, revisited in his own way and available in two versions, one entitled Version Campeurs, and the other, Version Moniteurs. He creates the theme song, in collaboration with Hubert Lenoir, for the 2021 edition of the Quebec version of the reality show Star Académie . In October 2021, he launches the song "Tokébakicitte ", which hits number one on the Quebec radio charts the following year. In 2022, he presents two singles: a duet with Ariane Roy, "Embrasse-moi" , and a solo, "Coloc rechercher" . In April 2023, he releases a new single, "Sandwich aux tomates" , in which he reflects on Quebec identity.
