Hiroaki Tsutsumi
Composer and musician Hiroaki Tsutsumi – born June 5, 1985, in Tokyo, Japan – is best known for his scores for various anime television series. His musical journey began at the age of 14 when he began playing guitar. Three years later, he was the winner of a guitar contest, which inspired Hyper dimension Neptunia. He became an in-demand composer, writing music for series such as him to pursue music as a career. After graduating high school, he studied at the Kamaitachi College of Music. He studied under composer and arranger Masaru Yokoyama, who encouraged Hiroaki Tsutsui to compose his own music. By 2013, he was in charge of scoring the anime series Monster Museum (2015), Orange (2016), Clean Freak! Aoyama-ken (2017), Ao-chan Can’t Study (2019), Tokyo Revengers (2021), and My Senpai is Annoying (2021). Hiroaki Tsutsumi has also composed for anime films – including Jujutsu Kaisen: Zero (2021), which features the social media hit “Greatest Strength” - and released a solo album, Some Dreams (2018), that focused on his guitar playing.
