Eastman-Rochester Pops Orchestra
The Eastman-Rochester Pops Orchestra was a studio ensemble formed by conductor Frederick Fennell at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. They recorded a series of discs for Mercury Records featuring music by Eastman composer Howard Hanson, as well as other Americans, such as Charles Ives, George Gershwin, William Schuman, and Percy Grainger.
