Armaan Malik
Polymath Armaan Malik (born July 22, 1995 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) – younger brother of Amaal Malik – is an Indian singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and one of the youngest singers to win two debut awards at the Global Indian Music Awards (GiMA) and the best playback singer award at BIG Star Entertainment Awards (2015). With a background in Hindi Classical Music, he studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston and made his recording debut in Bollywood singing on "Bum Bum Bhole" from the movie Taare Zameen Par in 2007. Adept at singing in multiple languages, Armaan Malik has recorded music in Hindi, English, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, and more, making his English-language debut with his groove-laden "Control" single in 2020. Another English single followed in the same year, titled "Next 2 Me," with a Hindi single also released in collaboration with Tulsi Kumar, titled "Zara Thehro," and composed by his brother under the label T-Series. In 2021, Armaan Malik teamed up with the popular DJ Kshmr and Eric Nam for a K-pop-shaped EDM juggernaut, "Echo," while in 2021 he also received the Viral Song Of The Decade (Telugu) award for "Butta Bomma," a Telugu-language song composed by S. Thaman for the soundtrack album of the film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020).
