Isabelle Faust fascine son public par ses interprétations souveraines. Elle aborde chaque œuvre avec un immense respect, une compréhension de son contexte historique et de l'instrument d’époque. La plus grande fidélité possible à l'œuvre est complétée par une perspective contemporaine qui permet une rencontre profonde avec les répertoires les plus divers, rendus accessibles à un large public grâce à l'intensité de son jeu. Après avoir été très jeune lauréate du prestigieux Concours Léopold Mozart et du Concours Paganini, Isabelle Faust a été rapidement amenée à se produire de manière régulière avec les plus grands orchestres du monde, tels que le Berliner Philharmoniker, le Boston Symphony Orchestra, le NHK Symphony Orchestra Tokyo, le Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Les Siècles et le Freiburger Barockorchester. Elle a ainsi développé une collaboration étroite et durable avec des chefs d'orchestre tels que Giovanni Antonini, François-Xavier Roth, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Daniel Harding, Philippe Herreweghe, Jakub Hrusa, Klaus Mäkelä, Robin Ticciati ou Sir Simon Rattle, avec lequel elle sera en tournée en mars 2024. La curiosité artistique d'Isabelle Faust englobe toutes les époques et toutes les formes de partenariat instrumental. Ce faisant, elle pénètre avec finesse dans l'essence des œuvres qu'elle interprète. Outre les grands concertos symphoniques pour violon, on peut citer l'octuor de Schubert sur instruments d'époque, « L'Histoire du Soldat » d'Igor Stravinsky avec Dominique Horwitz et les « Fragments de Kafka » de György Kurtág avec Anna Prohaska. Isabelle Faust s'est engagée très tôt dans l'interprétation de la musique contemporaine : parmi les dernières œuvres qu'elle a créées, on trouve des compositions de Péter Eötvös, Brett Dean, Ondřej Adámek et Rune Glerup. Parmi les points forts de la saison 2023/24 figure la célébration du centenaire de György Ligeti dans le cadre d'une vaste tournée avec Les Siècles et François-Xavier Roth, au cours de laquelle l'œuvre de Ligeti entrera en dialogue intense avec l'œuvre intemporelle de Mozart. Isabelle Faust se réjouit également de collaborer avec des orchestres tels que le Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, le Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, le NDR Radiophilharmonie, le Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, l'Orquesta Nacional de España, l'Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, le NHK Symphony Orchestra, ainsi que d'effectuer une tournée avec le London Symphony Orchestra. Cette saison, elle est également « artiste en residence » à l'Orchestre symphonique de la SWR. Cette saison, elle se concentre sur des projets de musique de chambre avec Antoine Tamestit, Kristian Bezuidenhout, Anne Katharina Schreiber, Kristin von der Goltz, Alexander Melnikov et Jean-Guihen Queyras. Ses nombreux enregistrements ont été unanimement salués par la critique et récompensés par des prix tels que le Diapason d'or, le Gramophone Award et le Choc de l'année. Les enregistrements les plus récents comprennent le concerto pour violon d'Igor Stravinsky avec Les Siècles sous la direction de François-Xavier Roth, le concerto pour violon d'Arnold Schönberg avec Daniel Harding et le Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, suivi du triple concerto de Ludwig van Beethoven avec Alexander Melnikov, Jean-Guihen Queyras, Pablo Heras-Casado et le Freiburger Barockorchester.
