Pixie Lott possède une bonne dose de malice, un phrasé ouvertement pêchu digne de Beyoncé, Rihanna, Amy Winehouse, Duffy et Joss Stone mais elle s'en sort avec son numéro de pipelette grâce à la force espiègle de sa personnalité. Évidemment, elle est soutenue par un ensemble de chansons solide, dont plusieurs sont co-écrites par la chanteuse elle-même, qui se situe entre le classique et le contemporain, un territoire qui rappelle les productions de Mark Ronson, voire parfois un Back to Black plus léger, plus brillant. Pixie Lott n'essaie jamais d'avoir l'air plus mûre que son âge, et la production est judicieusement, sagement moderne. Elle chante avec l'enthousiasme de ses jeunes années qui la soutient dans les moments où Turn It Up Louder glisse à sa surface, et rend l'album, dans ses meilleurs moments, sacrément contagieux.
