Originally self-released at the end of 2021 by Mexican writer, rapper, and singer Yng Lvcas, LPM's single and final track, "La Bebe," became the artist's first hit after a remix did even better. The album was the first real introduction punters had to Yng Lvcas' smooth, libidinous fusion of reggaeton, trap, and electro-cumbia. At the end of 2022, "La Bebe" was re-released with a remix featuring Peso Pluma. The new version went to number three on the Hot Latin Songs chart, propelling the wonderfully exotic, nearly two-year-old LPM to number eight on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart and number three at streaming.
