Comment imaginer qu’avec un tel blaze, Bror Gunnar Jansson soit une sorte de fils de la vengeance de John Lee Hooker et d’Howlin’ Wolf… Trois mois après les sept titres de And The Great Unknown – Part 1, le bluesman thrash qui venait du froid livre And The Great Unknown – Part 2, composé cette fois de neuf chansons. Du brutal pour l’homme-orchestre suédois qui fait tomber les arbres avec sa voix de Tom Waits des fjords. Comme à son habitude, celui qui naquit il y a trente ans à Lerum près de Göteborg nous rappelle qu’il n’est pas nécessaire d’être noir ni d’être né dans un champ de coton pour hurler à la lune comme un loup rongé par la rage et le désespoir. And The Great Unknown – Part 2 enchaine donc les vignettes 100% blues sans sombrer dans les clichés – dans ce domaine, le blues est sans doute le genre musical le plus miné – et en imposant même sa touche personnelle assez originale, un blues façon crooner imbibé, mâtiné de gospel et de punk rock.
