Pierre de Bethmann
This French pianist has long had an itch for music, learning jazz as a self-taught musician before turning professional late in life. Founder of the Prysm trio, he collaborated with a number of groups, including the Moutin Reunion and Pierrick Pedron's trio, before stealing the show as leader with the album Ilium in 2003. After Complexe in 2005, Pierre de Bethmann signed to the Plus Loin Music label, for whom he recorded the opuses Oui (2007), Cubique (2009) and Five (2011), followed by GO (2012).
