Jeremy Jordan
Before making his name as an actor, Jeremy Jordan's first forayed into the entertainment world via a brief music career in the early '90s. Signed to Irving Azoff's short-lived Giant Records, the blond, green-eyed, Indiana-bred Jordan was a natural for teen heartthrob stardom. And things seemed to go down just as planned at first; the lite-pop/R&B of debut single "The Right Kind of Love" benefited from a bit of timely cross-marketing, as it was included on the soundtrack to the then hugely popular Beverly Hills 90210 TV series, and further aided by its music video's inclusion during the end credits for much of the show's third season. The song became a Top 15 pop hit by the spring of 1993. However, its follow-up, "Wannagirl" failed to meet the same success, and his one and only album, Try My Love, hovered around the lower reaches of the chart for a few weeks before disappearing without a trace, effectively curtailing his musical ambitions almost right off the bat.
