AGA
Born Agatha Kong on January 21, 1988 in Hong Kong, and known professionally as AGA, the Cantopop and R&B singer-songwriter kicked off her career in 2013 with debut single "Hello." After being discovered by revered Hong Kong producer Schuman, the former flight attendant was enlisted to produce demos for other artists, writing "The Fifth Kind" 第五類 for Stephanie Cheng, and in 2012 moved into the spotlight to sign with Universal Music Hong Kong as a singer. Kong made an impact with her R&B-centered eponymous debut EP in 2013, scooping the Best Newcomer Award Gold Prize (叱吒樂壇生力軍) at the 2013 Ultimate Song Chart Awards. Continuing her winning streak with the ONE EP in 2014, she shot to the top of all four major music charts in Hong Kong and secured her place as one pop music's most exciting new voices. In 2015, Kong released the single "If" 若 to commemorate the death of her sister who died as a result of cancer in 2015. Her gold-selling second album, Ginadoll, was released in 2016 and her third album, Luna, in 2018. 2020 saw the release of So Called Love Songs.
