Feeder offers absolutely nothing to the late-'90s alt-rock scene, and their Brit-pop spin on it isn't very interesting. They do get off a couple fine moments on their second album -- "Insomnia" is the best of the bunch -- but long-term commitment to either the band or its music isn't possible. They simply don't make you care enough throughout their worn grooves.
