For her 11th studio album, Vida Toxica, Luz Casal and her longtime producer, Paco Trinidad, pieced together a powerhouse band, including veterans Pino Palladino, Robbie McIntosh, and Paul "Wix" Wickens, joined by engineer Darren Allison behind the board. Vida Toxica showcases warmth and a new optimism in Luz's voice, being the first release after her battle with breast cancer. The first single from the album, "Sé Feliz," is directly inspired by her overcoming the disease.
