On their 11th studio album, 2012's Revolution, symphonic metal duo Lacrimosa showcase their mixture of gothic rock and metal with classical music in a heavier version than before -- which may have something to do with the fact that it was recorded with guitarist Mille Petrozza (of German thrash metal mainstay Kreator) and drummer Stefan Schwarzmann (of German metal veterans Accept). Still, the album also features the band's trademark orchestral compositions, as can be witnessed on "Rote Sinfonie." Revolution entered the German charts at number 35.
