Detroit DJ and sound mixer Derrick May teams up with the U.K. trance collective System 7 for this retrospective collection of ethereal synthesizer tunes and hard house beats composed by the partnership throughout the 1990s. The title track develops the spacey theme of the album's opening "Altitude," while the soaring, free-form guitar of "Fractal Liaison" provides a gorgeous respite from the insistent, mesmerizing dance rhythms.
