New Jersey post-hardcore outfit Senses Fail celebrate their 15th anniversary with their first ever acoustic release. The five-song In Your Absence EP introduces three new songs into the band's canon while offering acoustic reworkings of "Lost and Found" from their 2006 album Still Searching and "Family Tradition" from 2008's Life Is Not a Waiting Room. New songs like the title track and "Death Bed" take a mournful direction, while opener "Jets to Peru" pairs bright acoustic guitars with a strident pop beat.
