Impacto Crea's first album launches the great sense of goodwill that has made this band a favorite on the basis of its powerful social messages, mostly about drug addiction and its devastating effects. Nonetheless, the band offers ample entertainment to spare as an alternative to tackling serious issues. "Monte Adentro" and "Como Guia Juan" are swinging little tunes that counteract the seriousness of the remaining repertoire ("El Mensaje," "El Errante," "Despierta Ya," and "El Arrepentido" demand close attention). Vocals are by Frankie Hernandez.
