Over his 35-year career, Spanish singer Miguel Bosé has accomplished much. Not only has he won Grammys and other awards, and achieved consistently high critical ratings and successful sales numbers, he has been restless and adventurous in his vision. Not every pop singer can make the same claim. This 16-track (plus bonus) collection goes a long way toward being the definitive single-disc document of that career, commencing with his first hit, "Linda," in 1977 and ending with 2004's "Olvídame Tú," and documenting collaborations with an astonishing number of artists from Gloria Gaynor to Andy Warhol, Penelope Cruz, Pedro Almodóvar, and even author Paolo Coelho. For fans who cannot get enough of Bosé's career, it also comes in a double-disc version with 20 more tracks, including a number of rarities with the hits, and a DVD with all of his videos. Either one of these volumes can equally be considered Colección Definitiva.
