Since forming in Birmingham, Alabama in 2009, Erra have become one of the most talked about bands on the progressive metal scene. Combining a relentless, technically precise attack with ambitious melodic and lyrical concepts, Erra have won a loyal and growing following thanks to their self-released debut EP, 2010's Andromeda, and their first full-length album, 2011's Impulse. With their third album, 2013's Augment, Erra push their music forward with another set of artful but hard-hitting songs. Selections include "Alpha Seed," "Dreamwalkers," "Hybrid Earth," "Crimson," and eight others.
