Tale Of Voices
Formed to preserve the art of a cappella singing, seven-piece gospel outfit Tale of Voices found fame after winning the 2011 series of France 2 talent show Sing-Off 100% Vocal. After honing their talents for five years, KJ, Wesley, Leo, Skeud, Fey B, Manu Vince, and Kevon decided to enter the Saturday night prime-time series after being impressed with the original NBC version, The Sing Off. Voted through to the live stages by judges Soprano, Tina Arena, and Michel Jonasz, the group went on to beat Swiss beatboxers VoxSet and boy-girl group NoName in the final thanks to performances of the likes of Prince's "Purple Rain," Claude François' "Comme d'Habitude," and Jessie J's "Price Tag." After signing a deal with Columbia Records, they released their self-titled debut album in 2012.
