Rush
Ao longo de sua carreira de décadas, o trio canadense Rush se tornou uma das bandas mais conceituadas do hard rock. Seu álbum 2112, de 1976, foi um marco: um trabalho conceitual futurista baseado nos escritos de Ayn Rand, e que misturava os elementos do trio - os vocais agudos de Geddy Lee, as composições épicas de Neil Peart e os complexos solos de guitarra de Alex Lifeson - de maneira harmoniosa. Depois de Moving Pictures (1981), eles começaram um período em que seu som foi dominado pelos sintetizadores. Durante os anos 90, eles criaram um hard rock viciante e perfeito para as rádios, como em Test for Echo, de 1996.
