CRi

A Canadian electronic musician and producer, CRi (aka Christophe Dubé) is known for his dreamy yet infectious dance-pop and dubstep sound. He came to wider public attention with his Juno-nominated 2017 EP Someone Else and Juno-nominated 2019 full-length Juvenile. His sophomore album, Miracles, arrived in 2023. Hailing from Quebec, Dubé was a member of the hip-hop group Feuilles et Racines before embarking on his solo career. He debuted as CRi with the EPs Eclipse in 2013 and Oda in 2014. Several more EPs followed, including 2016's Tell Her and 2017's Someone Else; the latter garnered a Juno Award nomination for Electronic Album of the Year. A fourth EP, Initial, arrived in 2019. Also in 2019, he paired with singer Charlotte Cardin for a cover of Daniel Bélanger's "Fous N'importe Où." The track was included on CRi's 2020 full-length debut, Juvenile, which also featured a guest spot from Bélanger on the song "Signal." The album earned Dubé his second Juno Award nomination for Electronic Album of the Year. In 2022, he became the first electronic artist to headline the Montreal Jazz Festival. A year later, he delivered his sophomore LP, Miracles. Along with the lead single "I Can Make It," the album included collaborations with Jesse Mac Cormack, Sophia Bel, singer Klô Pelgag, indie folk outfit Half Moon Run, and London duo Everyone You Know.
