Ruben Juarez
Talented Argentinean singer and accordion player Rubén Juarez got involved in local traditional music at the age of six, when he began attending classes to learn how to play accordion, making his live debut in 1956 while playing along with Orquesta Típica del Club Atletico Independiente. After meeting Horacio Quintana, Rubén Juarez was able to get a deal, signing up to Odeón and recording for the first time on September 4, 1969. After issuing his first album, the artist successfully started touring Latin America, being voted Best Tango Performer in 1973. On the big screen, Rubén Juarez debuted in Tango Bar, working along with Raul Julia and Valeria Lynch.
