Keros-n
Born in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe, on May 2, 1986, Sébastien Julien-Emmanuel-Lurel, aka Keros-n, was influenced from an early age by Caribbean rhythms and reggae. From 2002 onwards, he tried to impose his own style, taking part in numerous clashes with his local colleagues. In 2006, he formed the group La Russi, which went on to make a name for itself on its own label, Jutsu Production. Speaking in French, Creole and English, Keros-n's 2013 album Sky Is the Limit established him as one of the new spearheads of a dancehall-fueled rap that flirts with urban pop. The following album La Guè Ki Réel (2015) and the double Bipolaire (November 2017) completed the establishment of a reputation that now extends far beyond the Caribbean to the entire French-speaking world.
