Keith Kouna
The Canadian rock singer Sylvain Côté, aka Keith Kouna, is best known for his song 'Batiscan' which won the SOCAN songwriting competition in 2013 and subsequently became a hit single. He rose to prominence as the lead singer in the punk rock band Les Goules prior to becoming a solo artist. His first solo release was the 2008 album 'Les Années Monsieur' followed up by 'Du plaisir et des bombes' which he released four years later in 2012. After the success of 'Batiscan' Kouna recorded 'Le voyage d'hiver', an unusual album which was the singer's interpretation of 'Winterreisse', a collection of 24 poems originally set to music by the classical composer Schubert in 1828.
Kouna's most recent work is his 2017 album titled 'Bonsoir shérif'.
