Gregor Schwellenbach
Gregor Schwellenbach is a German musician, capable of playing a dozen instruments, who also arranges compositions for film and television. His talents range from playing piano to programming electronic music. In 2013, Schwellenbach took part in Kompakt's 20th anniversary by arranging chamber music reinterpretations of highlights from the Cologne, Germany label's catalog of house, techno, and electro-pop. Spielt 20 Jahre Kompakt, featuring as few as one and as many as 24 instrumentalists on versions of Jürgen Paape's "Ofterschwang," Closer Musik's "Departures," Triola's "AG Penthouse," and 17 other selections, was released that May.
