Dee D. Jackson
b. Deirdre Cozier, 15 July 1954, Oxford, England. This UK vocalist attained success with a crossover club track ‘Automatic Lover’, which reached the UK Top 5 in 1978 as well as topping the charts all over Europe. The song had a futuristic, space theme, which was continued on her second single ‘Meteor Man’. Two album’s worth of similar material were also released. Jackson went on to run a record company in Turin, Italy.
