Bombshell Rocks
Swedish punks Bombshell Rocks formed in the city of Västerås in late 1995, originally comprising singer Mårten Cedergran, guitarists Richard Andersson and Sami, bassist Mini, and drummer Chrille. Before playing under the name Bombshell Rocks, the group was called Down and Out. Shortly before self-releasing their debut EP, Who's the Real Bastard?, the guys added new drummer Thomas Falk following Chrille's decision to exit the lineup to focus more of his energy on skateboarding. The next Bombshell Rocks single preceded the departure of Sami, who was replaced by guitarist Thomas in time to record 1998's Underground Radio. The full-length Street Art Gallery appeared a year later (after which Andersson dropped out) and the gnarling City Rats and Alleycats was issued in January 2001. A more solid lineup consisting of Cedergran, Falk, guitarists Ola Hjelmberg and Crippe Määtä, and bassist Mathias Lind was also introduced. In early 2002, the ever-changing lineup circus continued as Andersson rejoined the group in place of Hjelmberg. Bombshell Rocks' third full-length, From Here and On, was released by the year's end. Cedergran exited the band to concentrate on being a tattoo artist, and the guys continued on as a quartet with guitarist Andersson picking up vocals. Sailor's Grave next released The Conclusion in April 2006.
