BAECHIGI
The South Korean hip-hop duo Baechigi is comprised of rappers Muwoong (real name Jung Mu-woong) and Tak (real name Lee Gi-cheoi). The pair were brought together by their record label Sniper Sound in 2005 and for the next seven years released a series of albums and EPs which enjoyed varying levels of success. Their big break came when they signed with YMC Entertainment in 2012 and released the single '2Guys' which went on to sell almost a million copies and reached number 14 in the charts. The following year they released the single 'Shower of Tears' featuring the female singer Ailee and which brought them their first number one, achieving sales of almost two million units. The success of the two singles led to the duo receiving an Mnet Asian Music Award for 'Discovery of the Year' in 2013. Their most recent release has been the single 'Moonlight' which came out in 2017.
