Stavesacre's second album Absolutes has an appropriately intense and heavy sound for a group comprised of former members of the Crucified. There isn't much that's notable about the group's songwriting, but the sound is so heavy and foreboding that the lack of strong writing becomes a moot point -- Absolutes is about sound and on that score it delivers.
