Rhino
Spanish heavy metal band Rhino was formed in Bilbao in December 2004 by singer/guitarist Javier Gálvez (formerly of Burial, From the Cross, and Left Hand Riders) and drummer Julen Gil (formerly of Subliminal and Positiva). Adding bassist Miguel Moral, they released a demo, Name the Horn Bearer, in January 2006. Moral was replaced by Sergio Robles just prior to the release of Breed the Chosen One by OdioSonoro/7th Gate Records in early 2007. After extensive touring, Rhino signed to Arctic Music Group in the U.S. for the American release of their next album, Dead Throne Monarch, on February 24, 2009.
