Res
Res (pronounced Reese) released her debut album, How I Do, in 2001. The mixture of hip-hop, rock, and soul (the hip-hop influence being the most prominent) was largely produced by Doc, who had worked on Esthero's 1998 release, Breath From Another. Prior to this debut, RES, born and raised in Philadelphia's suburbs, sang on GZA's Beneath the Surface and performed guest vocals for Talib Kweli & Hi Tek's Reflection Eternal.
