Mariette
Mariette Hansson is a Swedish singer-songwriter who is best known for winning the Europa Song Contest in 2017, representing her home country of Sweden.
Hansson's first exposure to fame came when she performed as Amanda Marshall on the Swedish qualifiers for the European Soundmix Show in 1999. After participating on `Swedish Idol' in 2009, she was eliminated in week eight.
After performing in Magnus Ugglas' band and touring with Ace Wilder, Hansson returned to the fore in 2015, performing at the Melodifestivalen with 'Don't Stop Believing'. Her 2017 entry 'A Million Years' was awarded Platinum status upon its release as a single and gained Hansson her first top 20 single.
