Le Vibrazioni
Le Vibrazioni is an Italian rock band formed in Milan in 1999 by Francesco Sarcina (vocals), Stefano Verderi (guitar, keyboards), Marco Castellani (bass), and Alessandro Deidda (drums). Their first single "Dedicato a Te" was released in 2003 and it becomes a platinum hit, paving the way for the debut album Le Vibrazioni. The band spent 2004 on the road, their energetic live performances and backstage banter being documented for the DVD Live all'Alcatraz. In March, 2005 they finished second in the group category at the San Remo Festival with a new song "Ovunque Andrï," and they released their second album, Le Vibrazioni II which immediately went gold. Their third album, Officine Meccaniche, appeared in 2006. Le Vibrazioni's sound relies heavily on '70s hard and progressive rock , their main influences being bands such as Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, as well as Italian rockers Vasco Rossi and Ligabue.
