Ivy Quainoo
Best known as the winner of the first season of the casting show The Voice of Germany, singer Ivy Quainoo was born in Berlin in 1992. Coached by the BossHoss members Hoss Power and Boss Burns, Quainoo beat Kim Sanders, Michael Schulte, and Max Giesinger in the show's finale in February 2012 with her rendition of "Do You Like What You See," a song written by Djorkaeff, Beatzarre, and Sylvia Gordon. The track was released as a single only one week after the finale and managed to reach number two on the German charts. Quainoo's debut album, simply titled Ivy, followed in March 2012 and entered the charts at number five.
