Hour Of 13
North Carolina's Hour of 13 were born in 2006 when songwriter/guitarist/bassist/drummer Chad Davis and singer Philip Swanson decided to join forces in the name of classic heavy metal and doom, harking back to the undiluted teachings of original masters Black Sabbath with their eponymous debut album. Released in late 2007 by Shadow Kingdom Records, the LP featured a few guest guitar solos from engineer Corey Leonard and became a sleeper hit among the metal cognoscenti, eventually landing on Decibel magazine's list of Top 25 metal albums the following year.
