Dick Weissman
Before Bela Fleck and Tony Trischka began experimenting with jazz on the banjo, Dick Weissman was a past master. He has stretched the boundaries of the folk idiom to where no ears have gone before. His most recent recording features bluegrass icons Tim & Molly O'Brien and jazz saxophonist Bob Rebholz. Truly this is music to be heard to be believed. All originals too.
