Terrell Hines
Influenced by everything from alternative pop to '60s soul, Georgia-born musician Terrell Hines is a one-man band, working as a singer, songwriter, rapper, drummer, and producer. His rapidly shifting, complex sonics coalesced on his debut project, 2020's Portal One: The Mixtape.
Born and raised in Dublin, Georgia, musician Terrell Hines developed an early passion for music in the culturally rich American South, eventually landing a full scholarship at Berklee College of Music. Debuting in 2019 with the St. Mark Rd., Hines quickly established himself as one to watch, demonstrating his versatility with wide-ranging vocal tones, neat genre fusions, and impressive skills behind the boards. After working on Beck's 2019 album Hyperspace, and enlisting Vince Staples for the remix to single "Get Up," Hines set to work on his debut mixtape, Portal One. With an expansive sonic palette ranging from stadium rock to underground hip-hop, Hines' 2020 debut demonstrated the musician's talent across a spectrum of musical styles.
