Rymz

Rymz, whose real name is Rémi Daoust, is a Quebec rapper born on December 6, 1989 in Saint-Hyacinthe (Canada). He began his career as a teenager with his duo Mauvaise Acte, who won the Secondaire en spectacle contest in 2005. They also won the Boum contest in 2007. In addition to his career as a rapper, he became a specialized educator for DPJ youth that same year. Rymz released his first album in August 2011, Marchand d'Son. He scored several hits during the 2010 decade with the songs " Décoller" , " Krève ", " Petit prince " and " Nouvelle drogue ". His albums Petit Prince in 2016, and Mille Soleils in 2017, earned him nominations at the Gala de l'ADISQ. Petit Prince won him the Audience Award at the same gala. In November 2016, he became the first Quebec rapper to sell out Montreal's M Telus. In June 2017, he closed the Francofolies de Montréal on the festival's biggest stage. In 2018, he accompanies rapper Loud on his European tour. In December 2022, he presents his fourth opus, Un Jour de Plus Au Paradis . Rymz opens for French artist Youv Dee in March and April 2023.
