Revolutionary Snake Ensemble
The Revolutionary Snake Ensemble was co-founded in Boston by alto saxophonist Ken Field and trumpeter Scott Getchell. Their 2003 album, Year of the Snake, though building from a New Orleans brass band base, adds eclectic modern influences from funk, soul, avant-garde, and more.
