NGeeYL

South Carolina rapper NGeeYL quickly went from being an independent local talent to working with big producers and more established rappers as more fans caught on to his sinister instrumentals and narcotic flows. After signing with 300 Entertainment, he collaborated with Yung Nudy and Valee on his 2019 mixtape Hiatus. NGeeYL was born in Spartansburg, South Carolina and was experiencing some local buzz for his trappy tracks by his late teens. Early singles like "Torch" and "Bartel" became regionally known minor hits in 2017. The next year NGeeYL became more visible with the release of the song "Slime Shit," a Pi'erre Bourne-produced track featuring a cameo from Yung Nudy. After a string of singles and EP releases, the rapper signed with 300 Entertainment and released his Tales of YL mixtape in 2018. In 2019 he struck out with new single "Diddibop Gang" and in October of that year released Hiatus, his most successful mixtape up until that point.
