Luh Tyler

In mid-2022, Tallahassee rapper Luh Tyler rose from a 16-year-old upstart to a buzzy viral star barely two months after releasing his first homemade track. His playful Florida street style on songs like "Law & Order" and "Fat Racks" helped him go viral and earn a major-label deal with Atlantic, which released his debut mixtape, My Vision, in March the following year. Tyler Meeks was on summer break from high school when he began recording his first raw tracks on his phone. One was a cheeky nod to influencer Jayda Wayda and the other was his own name-dropping, Florida-centric take on Detroit rapper Veeze's "Law & Order," which Tyler simply titled "Law & Order pt. 2." By the time he returned to school in the fall, he'd already become a rising regional star with scads of online followers. Follow-ups like "Fat Racks" and "Back Flippin'" performed similarly well, and he was soon talking to labels. Atlantic picked up the bill, and soon Luh Tyler was recording his debut with guest spots from fellow Floridians like Wizz Havin, Trapland Pat, and Loe Shimmy. My Vision came out in March 2023.
